Indian Parliamentary Traditions Discussed in New Delhi
New Delhi: A delegation of South Asian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) paid a courtesy visit to Hon’ble Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj, who serves as a guiding figure for the organisation. The meeting provided an opportunity for meaningful dialogue on parliamentary practices and democratic governance.
During the interaction, former Tanzanian Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament Dr. Dotto Mashaka Biteko joined the discussion on the theme “The Role of Parliament in Indian Policy.” The participants exchanged views on India’s parliamentary traditions, policymaking processes, and the functioning of democratic institutions.
